Mission

At New Roots we seek to provide direct access accommodation for non priority homeless adults in Birmingham and surrounding areas. We provide high quality general and bespoke care, support and supervision to our residents, many of whom have multiple and complex needs.

About Us

New Roots was founded and became a Registered Charity 1996, as a response to the ever growing numbers of “non priority homeless” in the city of Birmingham and the wider West Midlands. Our focus is in supporting single adults (the majority of whom are men) who, for one reason or another, find themselves without a home.
New Roots accommodates and supports over 1500 homeless individuals a night and places over 1800 clients per year into its supervised homes. New Roots tenants often have multiple and complex needs with which they are attempting to cope and overcome. As well as accommodation we and our partners offer bespoke support to help adults regain the stability they need to rebuild their lives, gain skills, training and employment and to be able to move successfully towards breaking the cycle of homelessness.

New Roots has properties across Birmingham and surrounding areas and has a small hands on Management Team who are supported by a wider team of Housing Officers and on site staff.
