Accommodation & ServicesReferral Process
At New Roots, we place residents based on whether there's a suitable vacancy or not. In order to do this, a referral needs to be taken. Referrals can be done by yourself, or through an outside agency such as probation. During the referral process, questions are asked such as your previous housing situation, any past convictions and what support you'd like. No need to worry, these questions are asked purely so that we can find the most suitable vacancy for yourself as well as support you the best we can and for monitoring purposes! Once the referral form has been taken (either face to face in the head office or over the phone) a placement officer will speak to our support team and service providers with the aim of finding you a vacancy within 30 minutes! Once a vacancy has been found, you can go to the property on the same day. Properties and Accommodation
